The Three Stooges are famous for making comedy shorts that are still viewed on TV today. They have been active from the early 1930s until 1970. Two of the stooges were always played by Moe Howard and Larry Fine. The third stooge was played by different persons including Moe's brothers Curly and Shemp and also Joe Besser and Curly Joe DeRita.
